Why we started
Most youth sports leagues in the US are not run by companies. They are run by a parent who volunteered, took on registration, scheduling, scoring, and payment chasing, and slowly watched the operational work eat the part of the season they actually signed up for.
We kept meeting that person. They were stitching together a spreadsheet, a group chat, a payment app, and a shared calendar, and re-doing the same work every week. The existing platforms were built for 5,000-player travel organizations and priced and shaped accordingly. Nobody had built the simple, honest tool a 150-player rec league actually needs.
So we did.
What we believe
0% on registration fees
When a parent registers their child, that money goes straight to the league's own Stripe account. We never take a cut. A flat monthly subscription is the only thing we earn, so a league keeps every dollar parents pay.
Built for the volunteer
The product has to be set up in an afternoon by someone who is not technical and does not have time to learn a new vocabulary. Not built for a 5,000-player travel organization, then sold down.
Children's data, handled with care
We follow COPPA, we never store photos of children, and we never sell personal information. Our revenue is the subscription, full stop. No ads, no data brokering.
Who we are
LeagueReady is built and operated by the team at Ravencord. We are a small group of builders who care about getting the details right for the people who run rec leagues.
We talk to volunteer admins constantly, and most of what ships is a direct response to something one of them told us was painful.
