Accessibility Statement
Last updated: May 17, 2026
Our commitment to making Go LeagueReady usable by every family, our WCAG target, and how to tell us when something gets in your way.
1. Our commitment
A youth sports league should be easy for every family to take part in. Go LeagueReady is committed to making our website, web app, and mobile app usable by as many people as possible, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, screen magnification, or other assistive technology.
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. Accessibility is treated as part of building the product, not as an afterthought.
2. What we do
- Use semantic HTML so structure, headings, and landmarks are announced correctly.
- Support full keyboard navigation, with visible focus states on interactive elements.
- Label buttons, form fields, and dialogs for screen readers, including the close control on modals.
- Maintain readable color contrast for text and meaningful interface elements.
- Respect the operating system “reduced motion” setting and keep animation non-essential.
- Provide descriptive alternative text for meaningful images.
- Set a responsive viewport so pages reflow cleanly on phones, tablets, and desktops without forcing horizontal scrolling or zoom.
3. Known limitations
We are honest about being a work in progress. Some parts of the product, particularly newer data-heavy screens, are still being reviewed and improved for accessibility. If you reach a point where something is difficult or impossible to use, we want to hear about it so we can fix it and so we can help you in the meantime.
4. Third-party components
A few steps rely on third-party services, such as the Stripe payment checkout and the Clerk sign-in flow. We choose providers that take accessibility seriously, but those screens are controlled by the provider and are not fully within our control. If you hit an accessibility barrier in one of those steps, please still tell us, and we will help you complete the task another way.
5. How to report an issue
If you encounter an accessibility barrier, email support@goleagueready.com with “Accessibility” in the subject line. It helps if you can include:
- The page or screen where the problem occurred (a link or description).
- What you were trying to do.
- The device, browser, and any assistive technology you were using.
6. Our response
We aim to acknowledge accessibility reports within five business days and to give you a meaningful update on a fix. If a fix will take time, we will work with you directly so you can still complete what you need to do.
7. Ongoing improvement
We review accessibility as we ship new features and revisit older screens over time. This statement will be updated as the product improves, and the “Last updated” date above will change.
